Donald Trump cannot be allowed to take a $400 million "gift" from Qatar's royal family Congress needs to put a stop to this immediately, and we need an independent investigation with congressional hearing and the appointment of special counsel. We need to know what Trump agreed to do for a foreign government in exchange for this "flying palace." We need to know whether this deal violated Bridget laws or the Emoluments clause of the Constitution. We need to know how the lawyer at the DOJ and WH counsel's office decided this was OK, especially with the AGs history as a lobbyist for Qatar. We do not want our leaders to be for sale to the rest of the world. Right now, the WH is up for auction for the highest bidder You would have to be a complete sucker to believe that Qatar is giving Trump a luxury jet without strings attached. This is blatant corruption. Congress cannot stand by and let it happen. Act or be complicit.
