I am writing yet again to urge my Representatives in Congress to vote against the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act will only hurt millions of voters by adding burdensome requirements that will prevent them from making their voices heard at the ballot box. Don’t let republicans disenfranchise us. The requirements they propose are absurd and are simply a ploy to frustrate and hinder democrats from voting, especially the poor, minorities, the elderly, immigrants. I have been voting for over 65 years: do I really have to produce my marriage certificate and divorce papers to prove who I am. This is so patently fascist.
