AI needs to be regulated. Not only does it need to be regulated to stop it from stealing people’s intellectual property and to compensate for the IP they already stole, they need to be regulated to prevent AI that can hack into other companies or get on the internet and start messing with things. There needs to be real consequences for people who create rogue AI or who use it to do illegal things. We are taking too long to regulate emerging technologies.
