You need to have a TOUGH TALK conversation with the New Jersey State police and reiterate that their job is to protect the protesters not the ICE agents. The ICE agents don’t need to state police protection. They have guns they have vests, pepper spray, etc. The protestors do not. The New Jersey state police are supposed to protect citizens. They don’t need to protect the federal government. And I should be seeing every single one of y’all out there with the protesters every day. Regardless of whether you’re allowed in, you should be out there with them actually actually showing your support to shut down Delaney Hall as the lawsuit that Newark filed and is currently working through. WHERE ARE OUR LEADERS? ARE YOU FOR NJ OR FOR THE FEDS????
