Reject Transphobic H.Res.769, Support Trans Rights

To: Rep. Ciscomani

July 20

H.Res.769: Transphobic and Discriminatory Resolution This resolution H.Res.769 promotes discrimination against transgender individuals and undermines protections for a vulnerable minority group. Denying trans women and girls the ability to participate in sports aligned with their gender identity perpetuates harmful stereotypes and biases. There is no compelling evidence that including trans athletes causes significant disadvantages or safety concerns when appropriate policies are in place. Rather than excluding an entire group, efforts should focus on developing inclusive policies that balance fairness and participation for all. Promoting a "Real Women's Day" based on defining womanhood by chromosomes is regressive and hurtful. I urge you to reject this resolution and instead support measures that uphold the dignity and rights of all people, regardless of gender identity.
