Are you okay with an authoritarian government that kidnaps people off the streets and ships them to an El Salvador prison with no due process? If you are, then you are as bad as the Nazis were. This country has a justice system in which you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. We didn’t used to have secret police who wear masks, don’t identify themselves, and snatch people off the streets. You need to urge the Trump regime to get Abrego Garcia back from the prison he was sent to. He has protected status. He is not a criminal. He is married to a U.S. citizen and is the father of U.S. citizens. Mr. Garcia was illegally kidnapped by Trump’s secret police. The Republicans in Congress are complicit in this administration’s crimes by remaining silent. Do your job. Honor the oath of office that you took. Stop this corrupt regime from committing human rights atrocities. Just imagine how you would react to President Obama or PresidentBiden doing the same things that Trump is doing, and act accordingly. You would be outraged at how our constitution is being trampled on. Stand up for our democracy before it is too late.
