As your constituent I ask you to please vote against the upcoming Budget Bill. This bill is harmful to the State of South Carolina. It will remove tens of thousands of the neediest off Medicaid. These are the elderly and children who benefit from health care. This bill will also literally take food away from families and children by the giant reductions in the SNAP program. Supporters of this bill uses fraud as the reasoning but we all know the amount of fraud is minimal and not at the levels demonstrated by these cuts. Do you want to see the citizens of your state both in cities and rural areas standing in breadlines or dying needlessly from inadequate access to health care? . This bill is cruel and inhumane - all for tax cuts to the 13 wealthiest families in our country. If you vote for this bill I will do my darnest to make sure you never get elected again( be it congress or governor or whatever) .
