NO forced NDAs for federal workers! This exacerbate lack of transparency!

The Trump administration is proposing a rule to require federal workers to sign nondisclosure agreements, according to a draft notice the Office of Personnel Management posted.
The draft says it’s needed to combat “unauthorized disclosures” to the media, citing in part reporting last year about OPM’s controversial efforts to make it easier to fire government employees.
Violations of the NDA by current and former employees could result in civil and criminal penalties, the notice says.
With this administration shocking lack of transparency, tendency to ignore the Constitution and rule of law, and its massive acts of corruption, these leaks are frequently the only reason the American public know what is going on inside our government.
This effort to force NDAs only serves the purpose of trying to induce fear and intimidate the workforce so as to stop unauthorized but lawful disclosures of information that has often resulted in negative publicity for the Administration.
Let me be clear when I say, this is not what the American people want.
We are headed in the wrong direction as a country under this administration.
Congress must throw all of their weight behind stopping this now!
