Hi, I’m a constituent from Santa Monica and a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles. I'm asking that you support Rep. Dan Goldman's ‘Supreme Court Ethics and Investigations Act’ to restore accountability and transparency to the Supreme Court. Recent news reports of Justice Alito having the upside-down American flag and the “Appeal to Heaven” flag flying over his home and his beach house reasonably cast doubt on Justice Alito’s ability to be impartial and unbiased. Because Chief Justice John Roberts has allowed these conflicts to go unchecked, the Supreme Court is at its lowest public approval ever—with the public losing trust in the institution's integrity and seeing it as the tool of a partisan right-wing agenda. With the very real possibility that the Justices could decide the 2024 election, the American people need to know the truth. Thank you for your time and attention.
