Do not confirm any of the regime's nominations this month.

To: Sen. Van Hollen, Sen. Alsobrooks

August 2

Democrats have rightly slowed the process this year, blocking more nominees than usual, denying quick consent votes, and insisting on roll call votes and full debate time. These delays are not procedural gimmicks; they are essential tools of resistance in a time when democracy itself is under threat. Every nomination advanced legitimizes and strengthens a regime that continues to erode democratic norms, suppress dissent, and dismantle institutions meant to serve the people. We must not allow this administration to quietly stack the courts, agencies, and key leadership positions with loyalists committed to an anti-democratic agenda. Please use every available procedural tool at your disposal holds, objections, and extended debates, to stall and block these nominations. This moment calls for moral clarity and unrelenting resolve. Do whatever it takes.
