I know the redistricting vote was hard
To: Rep. Behning, Sen. Young
From: A constituent in Indianapolis, IN
December 12
Welcome to the wrong side of history.
Today, the Indiana state senate voted down the absolutely ludicrous map pushed by the Trump administration. Both of you voted for this despicable bill, contrary to state processes, likely because the President deemed it important.
News flash. The President isn’t registered to vote in Indiana. Massachusetts and California, to my knowledge, are still not part of Indiana unless some truly interesting executive order has occurred.
You represent me. You represent my family. My spouse is a veteran, and my daughter will be joining the armed forces. I don’t care what Washington, DC wants. You represent Indiana.
Act like it. The majority of Hoosier Senate Republicans did that today. They acted in the interest of their voters. I expect you to do the same.
