Defend the United States Constitution. It is the Oath of Office you swore to uphold prior to being seated. Either the Constitution is the law of the land which no one is above, or it is an empty sheet of paper.
The founders’ ideas about independence and “all men being created equal” have different meaning within each time period’s context. In the 21st century it should include everyone in the country regardless of gender, race, religion, language, or citizenship status. However, if our laws do not apply equally to everyone, then they apply to no one.
In this 21st century we have witnessed individuals, organizations, and corporations act with impunity to line their pockets with wealth and power at the expense of “We the People.” It is time to change this course of history and reclaim that which values diversity, our natural environment, the inalienable rights of humanity, and alliances with other nations that share those values.
You need to fulfill your oaths, or step down. If you continue to allow an unfettered Executive Branch to abuse its authority and the people of this Nation, then you are complicit in its crimes against humanity and will be held accountable in due time.
Never forget that We the People ARE the Nation; are the government; are the ultimate accountability body - and we are tired of watching as you fail to do your sworn duty time and time again.
