I urge you to fully fund the courts' request for new judges, not a fraction of it. When judges carry more than 1,000 cases and work 50–60 hour weeks, Utahns wait longer for justice and quality suffers.
You found the money to appoint two unnecessary new justices to the Supreme Court, and yet when the courts are being crushed under the weight of their caseload, we can only get three of the eight requested judges. So when we need a blatantly political move to promote rulings favorable to those currently in power, you can make it happen, but when it comes to helping people who deserve a speedy trial, it's just not important?
Interesting priorities.
