Investigate Sheriff Zuchowski for alleged voter intimidation allegations
To: Gov. DeWine
From: A verified voter in Munroe Falls, OH
September 20
Voter intimidation is a serious offense that undermines the very foundation of our democratic process. As an elected official, Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski has a duty to uphold the rights of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliation. His actions, as reported by credible sources, suggest a disregard for this fundamental obligation. Recent reports indicate that several Portage County residents have filed complaints alleging voter intimidation against Sheriff Zuchowski. These complaints allege that the Sheriff used his position of authority to discourage individuals from exercising their constitutional right to vote. Such behavior is unacceptable and erodes public trust in the electoral process. It is imperative that elected officials, especially those entrusted with upholding the law, remain impartial and protect the rights of all citizens. Sheriff Zuchowski's alleged actions not only undermine the democratic principles upon which our nation was founded but also call into question his ability to serve the entire community fairly and equitably. In light of these serious allegations, I urge you to take decisive action to investigate the matter thoroughly and, if the claims are substantiated, remove Sheriff Zuchowski from his position. Our democratic institutions must be safeguarded, and those who violate the public's trust should be held accountable. The people of Portage County deserve a Sheriff who will uphold the law without bias or intimidation.
