I’m disgusted and alarmed by Trump’s weaponization of the Department of Justice. His latest move, directing Pam Bondi to open an investigation into James Comey despite US Attorneys saying there’s no case there, is abhorrent and wrong. The DOJ should be fully independent and focussed on pursuing justice for the American people—not satisfying Trump’s broken need for revenge against his perceived enemies.
