Say no to the Charlie Kirk bill

To: Gov. DeWine, Sen. O'Brien, Rep. Fowler Arthur

From: A verified voter in Chesterland, OH

November 28

I am writing to urge you to oppose the so‑called “Charlie Kirk bill.” This proposal is a direct violation of the separation of church and state, a foundational principle of our democracy. Government must remain neutral in matters of religion. Allowing legislation that elevates one religious viewpoint over others undermines both constitutional protections and the diverse communities you represent. Ohioans deserve laws that respect freedom of conscience, not measures that blur the line between faith and governance. Please stand firm in defense of the First Amendment and reject this bill. Protecting the integrity of our institutions requires vigilance against efforts to erode the separation of church and state.
