An Open Letter

To: Rep. Harrigan, Sen. Budd, Sen. Tillis

From: A constituent in Maiden, NC

October 15

I urge you to reject any effort to amend the Wild-Free Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971 to authorize the killing or slaughtering of wild horses and burros. Additionally, you can further protect the Wild horses and Burris by voting to pass the SAFE Act (HR 1661/S 775), advance the Van Drew-Titus amendment, and preserve horse protection language in the Transportation Bill. I sincerely hope I can count on your support in the ongoing effort to save this nation’s remaining wild horses and burros.
