Senator and Representative, I’m a North Carolinian who deeply cares about our communities and the values we stand for. That’s why I’m urging you to uphold Governor Josh Stein’s vetoes of HB 318 and SB 153. Immigrants and refugees are a vital part of our communities & help North Carolina’s economy thrive. These bills, if passed would take us backwards, spreading fear and separating families. These aren’t the welcoming values of North Carolina. Please vote to sustain the Governor’s veto on these bills. I thank you for your attention.
