I understand that Senator Ted Cruz introduced legislation in the Senate, S. 4340 the Stop Climate Shakedowns Act of 2026, that would shield fossil fuel companies from liability lawsuits and target climate superfund policies gaining steam in states. I wholly oppose this terrible bill and expect the Senator to do so as well. Oil and gas companies have known what their products would do to our climate for 30 years at least. They lied about it and the costs to humanity are incalculable. They should pay. Ask the Senator to vote no, please. Thanks.
