The right to vote is a fundamental principle of democracy. Attempting to strip citizens of this right undermines the very foundations of our electoral system. I urge you to reject any measures that would disenfranchise voters or erect barriers to exercising this constitutional freedom. A government truly of the people must protect and expand access to the ballot box for all eligible voters. Suppressing the vote weakens the legitimacy of our institutions and the will of the people. Please stand up for our democracy by safeguarding this most sacred civic duty.
