Stand for the American People

To: Sen. Tillis, Rep. Adams, Sen. Budd

From: A constituent in Charlotte, NC

February 7

Our constitution has an amendment that allows for the removal of a president who has proved themselves incapable of executing the office. At what point in time will you decide to start pushing for the application of the 25th amendment? Will it be only once our international reputation is so tarnished that top researchers will no longer want to work here? Or will you wait until the president says something so completely egregious that it cannot be ignored and propels us into an unnecessary war? Surely the irrefutable fact that our president engaged in pedophilia ON TOP of already being a convicted rapist prompts some kind of action? At what point does the dream of our nation die in the face of a complete and utter disregard for the honor of the office of the president **by the president himself**? You were elected to stand for the people and to honor the constitution of our nation. Please speak up. Don’t wait for midterms to choose to stand on principle. We, the American people, still believe in the dignity of the office of President, but its current occupant is not fit to serve, in any way.
