Urgent: Oppose Steve Pearce's Nomination as BLM Director

To: Sen. Cortez Masto, Sen. Rosen, Rep. Lee

From: A constituent in Las Vegas, NV

February 25

I urge you to vote against Steve Pearce's nomination for the Bureau of Land Management Director. As the largest land management agency in the country, the BLM needs a Director who will uphold its multiple-use mandate and manage public lands for all Americans, including ranchers, recreationists, energy producers, and conservationists alike. Steve Pearce's record shows he will not be that balanced leader. The BLM needs a leader who will prioritize the management of public lands for all Americans, not just one industry. Pearce's history of advocating for the sale of public lands and his significant conflicts of interest make him unfit for this critical role. Please consider the best interests of our public lands and oppose Steve Pearce's nomination. Thank you for your time and consideration
