Reject Missouri's invasive reproductive health registry bill

To: Sen. Williams, Gov. Kehoe, Rep. Boykin

From: A constituent in Hazelwood, MO

February 19

I am deeply concerned about the proposed Missouri House Bill 807, which would establish an invasive registry of women who have had abortions or experienced miscarriages. This bill is an egregious violation of reproductive rights and personal privacy. It promotes discrimination against women by treating them as vessels for state surveillance rather than autonomous individuals. The government has no right to track and monitor women's personal healthcare decisions in this manner. Reproductive choices should be made privately between a woman and her doctor, without interference or judgment from the state. This bill perpetuates an oppressive system of control over women's bodies that needs to be dismantled. I urge you to reject House Bill 807 and any similar measures that infringe on women's bodily autonomy and human rights.
