I’m writing to express my outrage over the Trump administration’s ongoing abuses of power and Trump’s dictatorial rule. I ask that Sen. Alsobrooks refuse to pass any blank check federal spending bill that enables this authoritarian government’s unconstitutional practices, and stop letting Trump usurp Congress’ constitutional authorities over spending, tariffs, and the military, and pledge to investigate and prosecute any government official who has participated in this administration’s illegal actions. If Sen. Alsobrooks will not fulfill their duty as a member of a co-equal branch of government and stop this authoritarian takeover, I will use my power as a voter to support a representative who will.
