I am writing to you today as a deeply concerned constituent to demand that you exercise your constitutional authority to initiate impeachment proceedings against the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Recent evidence has made it clear that Secretary Kennedy willfully misled the American people and the United States Congress. During his 2025 Senate confirmation hearings, he testified under oath that his 2019 trip to Samoa "had nothing to do with vaccines." We now know this was a calculated lie. Newly released emails from the U.S. Embassy and UN staff reveal that the primary purpose of his visit was to promote vaccine skepticism—actions that directly contributed to a measles outbreak claiming the lives of 83 people, most of them children. Perjury before Congress is a federal crime and a clear violation of the public trust. A man who lies about his role in a public health catastrophe is fundamentally unfit to lead our nation’s health department. His continued presence in office is an insult to the families who lost children in Samoa and a direct threat to the safety of every American family today. I urge you to stand for the truth and for public safety. Please lead the charge in the House to impeach Secretary Kennedy for his dishonest testimony and his dangerous, life-threatening policies.
