Only Congress May Declare War

To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Moody, Rep. Salazar

From: A constituent in Miami, FL

March 3

While I deplored the Ayatollah and the IRGC, this is a president violating our Constitution. This is his second regime change. He freely admits this is war. Declaring war is the Article I power of Congress. Where our the Senators and Representatives? You also took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Permitting a would-be American king to unilaterally start wars via inaction and subjugation is a violation of your oath. The Founders would declare revolution anew to throw off this dreadful administration. The least you can do is uphold your oath and stop funding unless and until Congress votes to sanction this war.
