This week's list of things you could stop, but won't. Democracy is dying in front of you.
1. The continued insanity of threatening a NATO ally over Greenland (which we are coming to learn is because several billionaires Including Ronald Lauder have business interests there) must end.
2. The use of tariffs has always been ridiculous and now they are being used as retribution - so NOT in the interest of this country, but the fury of a madman. You do know Denmark is the major supplier of insulin for this country. This, like most of Trump's policies, endangers people needlessly.
3. ICE should be abolished. They are so far beyond the scope of their so-called mission. They tear gassed children this week. They potentially used banned chemical weapons on American citizens. Bovino dressed up like a NAZI while Noem paraded out their new NAZI slogan- "One of ours, all of yours" making the comparisons apt that ICE is the Gestapo. You do know the use of collective punishment is a war crime. Let's not even talk about last week's murder in cold blood.
4. The rumors that this administration will be calling our elite paratroopers to Minnesota is nauseating. The military is NOT Trump's personal tool for a Civil War he is trying to provoke.
5. Finally, the absolute embarrassment of posing with a fake Nobel Prize shows this president is mentally unstable. Combine it with taking the money from Venezuela for his private use and pretending to start a new United Nations where he can be paid a billion for a seat on the board is absolutely corruption in action. On top of the endless bribery, self-dealing and corruption, Trump has been doing since day one. ON YOUR WATCH!!
The U.S. military is being used to take over countries for his own wealth and none of you care to speak out. What are we even doing? No one wants any of this - we want universal healthcare, strong public education systems, a functional and science-based CDC, public lands protected, and the Epstein files released with anyone in them locked up where they belong.
To reiterate, each week, there are new ways our democracy is dying on your watch.
