Scrutinize Bondi's independence and integrity for Attorney General role
To: Sen. Cassidy, Sen. Kennedy
From: A constituent in New Orleans, LA
November 30
Pam Bondi, Trump's potential nominee for Attorney General, has troublingly close ties to the president and his allies, raising concerns about conflicts of interest and impartiality in carrying out the duties of that office impartially. As the chief law enforcement officer, the Attorney General must be independent and above reproach. Bondi's track record, including her decision not to pursue a fraud case against Trump University after receiving a campaign donation from the president's foundation, calls into question her ability to uphold the rule of law fairly. I urge you to thoroughly scrutinize her record and consider whether Bondi possesses the integrity and independence necessary to lead the Department of Justice in an ethical and unbiased manner. The Attorney General must serve the interests of the American people, not the personal interests of the president. Please oppose this nomination.
