I urge you to vote YES on AB 2461 and NO on AB 2716. AB 2461 protects taxpayers by requiring fossil fuel companies to provide financial assurance for the full cleanup cost when purchasing a well. The oil industry’s AB 2716 would weaken these protections. Please vote YES on AB 2461 and NO on AB 2716. Thank you.
