I was very taken aback when I saw that during a Republican run shutdown you are voting to confirm more Trump administration appointees. Why in the world are you still playing nice with these people? Our very democracy is being destroyed in front of our eyes. Voting in anyone that the Trump administration deems a good judge is very questionable on your part. I have voted for you several times in the past, but seeing things like this makes me question every single one of those votes. I would love to see some amount of resistance from my senator. When Obama or Biden held the presidency, republicans would prevent appointing anyone if they had the power, why is it that you can’t? This is incredibly disappointing. I don’t know if I can support you in coming years for any sort of office if this is the amount of fight you’re able to muster.
