I’m horrified by the Supreme Court ruling yesterday in Louisiana v Callais, only possible because of our broken system. I want Congress to pass legislation to create nonpartisan redistricting commissions for every state. Americans are fed up with partisan AND racial gerrymandering. Voters should choose their politicians—not the other way around. And there should be alignment between state government representatives and the districts at federal Level. We need our federal and state representation to work together.
