The stink of impropriety and conflicts of interest permeates Justice Alito's potential involvement in any January 6th cases given the reported heated altercation between his wife and neighbors that required police intervention. This incident alone casts grave doubts on Justice Alito's capacity to remain impartial and unbiased on matters related to the insurrection. To preserve any semblance of judicial ethics and faith in the rule of law, Justice Alito must recuse himself from all January 6th cases without delay. The integrity of the Supreme Court and the entire judicial system hinges on avoiding such blatant appearances of conflicts that reek of undue influence.
