I’m writing because I understand that the Trump administration will only be paying out 50% of SNAP funds for the month of November. This is insane. The people who rely on this money cannot survive on half. Every penny is desperately needed! Also, Americans are not stupid—we can see that Republicans are finding plenty of money for Argentina, for tax cuts for the wealthy, for a Great Gatsby party, but only a pittance for the neediest among us? It is sickening. The government has the money to fund SNAP and it needs to do so fully now. I know Democrats are fighting hard for us and I know they’re exhausted, but please don’t cave. We need those tax credits extended. SNAP needs all of its funding. The people need a party that fights for them. We will have your backs in return. Oh, and when this CR runs out Congress should pass only a short-term one that gives them time to extend those tax credits. Nothing that goes into 2026, please! Thank you!
