I write to thank you, wholeheartedly, for voting in favor of the national security supplemental to support Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan and counter aggression from Putin's Russia, Communist China, and the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran. I know you know that history has shown us that refusing to stand up to totalitarian states that invade and plunder their democratic neighbors only leads to more destruction and danger to the free world. As you have said, cutting off our support to Ukraine would not only help Putin but also be a green light for China to invade Taiwan, which could very well draw the U.S. into war. It is wonderful to see this accomplished, even if belatedly. I concur with your view that Speaker Johnson showed great leadership and I am grateful that a broad bipartisan coalition came together.
