Enough is enough! Quit using tax dollars to protect ICE and CBP from reform!

To: Rep. Wilson, Sen. Scott, Sen. Graham

I’m writing to urge you to use every tool at your disposal to fight any budget reconciliation bill that shovels more taxpayer dollars to ICE and Border Patrol. Republicans already voted to give them the budget of a small army last year, and now they're trying to use the reconciliation process to give these agencies billions more. The Republican majority Congress seems to have forgotten that your job is to represent you constituents so that we have a say in how our tax money is spent. Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of ICE and Boarder Patrol's violent actions of the last year. We want reform, not more of our hard earned money allocated to protect them from reform! Enough is enough! Let’s focus on funding healthcare affordable housing, education, and food security instead of shoveling even more money to these out of control agencies. I urge you to vote NO on the reconciliation legislation and use all available leverage to delay, obstruct, and build public opposition to Republicans’ backwards spending priorities that make hardworking families suffer to fuel Trump’s mass deportation machine.
