I am writing to you because I'm feeling hopeless; yet, I can't give up, so I'm doing the only thing I can do. I know the Democrats are in the minority, but there has to be something you can do to limit the destruction of the Trump administration. I'm ashamed to be American right now, knowing that history will judge us for not doing more to stop this. ICE kidnaps and now kills people with impunity, while our military kills extrajudicially and invades sovereign nations. I'm worried the annexation of Greenland, and with it the destruction of NATO, is inevitable. Please do what you can to convince your Republican colleagues to see what is happening, and to use their constitutional power and duty to stop this administration from descending our country into full autocracy.
