Demand transparency on Gaetz ethics inquiry, public disclosure required
To: Rep. DeLauro
From: A constituent in Wallingford, CT
November 20
The public has a right to transparency regarding allegations of misconduct by elected officials and government nominees. Suppressing the House Ethics Committee's investigative report on Matt Gaetz obstructs accountability and undermines trust in our democratic institutions. This bipartisan ethics inquiry should be released without delay to allow proper scrutiny of Mr. Gaetz's fitness to serve as attorney general. Failing to disclose the findings circumvents vital oversight and raises concerns about an ethics-free nomination process driven by political interests rather than upholding the rule of law. The American people deserve full disclosure to make informed decisions about their leaders. I urge you to stand for governmental integrity by insisting the Gaetz report be made public immediately.
