This Bill Rewards the Wealthy and Hurts Everyone Else—Vote NO
I’m writing to urge you to vote against the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Behind the branding is a deeply damaging proposal that would enrich the wealthiest Americans while making life harder for nearly everyone else.
This bill would:
• Make the Trump-era tax cuts permanent and expand them—benefiting top earners and corporations, not working families.
• Cut Medicaid, SNAP, and public services that millions of low-income and middle-class Americans rely on to survive.
• Slash IRS enforcement, letting wealthy tax evaders off the hook while everyone else pays more.
• Increase the national debt by trillions, while claiming to be fiscally responsible.
Let’s be clear: this bill protects wealth and privilege at the expense of dignity, health, and opportunity for everyone else.
• It punishes working families with higher costs and fewer services.
• It abandons marginalized communities, cutting off lifelines in healthcare, housing, and education.
• It leaves disabled Americans, seniors, and first responders behind.
• And it guts public institutions that working people built and rely on—just to push more wealth upward.
This isn’t reform. It’s redistribution in reverse.
Congress should be strengthening the safety net—not shredding it. We need policies that support working people, invest in our future, and hold the ultra-wealthy accountable—not another massive handout for those already at the top.
I urge you to vote no. Stand with the people—not the privileged few.
