I am writing as a constituent to express serious concerns about the treatment of federal employees and the ongoing changes affecting federal agencies. The administration has proposed freezing base and locality pay for most civilian federal employees in 2027. The President’s alternative pay plan states that civilian federal employee pay would remain at 2026 levels, while certain federal law enforcement personnel would receive a 3.8 percent increase. Congress retains the ability to establish different pay rates. All Federal Employees deserve a raise, to at least keep up with inflation!
