The use of federal law enforcement against a sitting member of Congress, just weeks before an election, raises serious concerns about political retaliation, abuse of power, and the erosion of our democratic institutions. No elected official is above the law, but no elected official should be targeted for their political beliefs or opposition to the Trump regime. I urge you to demand immediate congressional oversight, transparency regarding the justification and timing of this raid, and accountability for any misuse of federal law enforcement. Our democracy depends on the rule of law, not the intimidation of political opponents. Silence in the face of potential government overreach is unacceptable.
