I am writing as a constituent in Fitchburg to share the issues that matter most to me for Wisconsin. I am asking you to make these priorities, use your voice on them now, and push for them in the next legislative session.
• Fully expand Medicaid. Wisconsin should take the full federal expansion. It would cover more people and bring our own tax dollars back home.
• Repeal Right to Work. Workers deserve strong unions and a fair say in their pay and working conditions.
• Legalize marijuana. Our neighbors already have. Wisconsin is losing the tax revenue and jobs to them, and people are still being punished for something legal across the border.
• Pass data center regulations. These projects need clear rules on water use, power costs, and tax breaks so residents do not end up paying the bill.
• Increase shared revenue to local governments. Cities, towns, and counties need the funding to pay for police, fire, roads, and basic services without cutting them or raising property taxes.
• Codify abortion protections. These rights should be written into state law, not left to the courts.
• Fund public education. Our public schools need steady, full funding so districts are not forced to go to referendum just to keep the lights on.
• Regulate private school vouchers. Schools that take public money should meet the same standards for accountability and transparency as public schools.
• Join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
Every vote for president should count equally, no matter which state it is cast in.
I would appreciate a reply letting me know where you stand on each of these and what you plan to do about them. Thank you for your time and your service to Wisconsin.
