INDEPENDENT VOTER I am urging each of you to listen very carefully to what I am about to say. This isn’t Red or Blue. It’s about good governing. The vote to approve Todd Blanche as our country’s next AG is delayed. Two Senators are asking for a written guarantee the IRS protections and “slush fund” will not be implemented. This is missing the point. The mere fact an attorney, any attorney would author such a document is an obscene abuse of our justice system. Written because it was demanded by the President. It is on its own a disqualifying act. The AG is the people’s attorney, not the Presidents personal attorney. Todd Blanche has allowed his position to be corrupted by the President. This will not change even if this specific instance is resolved. Blanche will be asked to provide other future corrupt legal positions which he will gladly do. His proven loyalty is to Trump, not the American people. I am urging you in the strongest of terms to not approve Todd Blanch as the next AG. Americans deserve better from the highest law enforcement officer in our land.
