Bovino’s reassignment will not protect Americans. CBP and ICE need an overhaul and complete leadership change and - most importantly - no additional funding. The following must happen for Americans to be safe from the unlawful and militarized actions of CBP and ICE: 1️⃣ No new funding for ICE or CBP. 2️⃣ Kristi Noem must RESIGN. 3️⃣ Greg Bovino must be FIRED. 4️⃣ Suspend the LAWLESS mass deportation raids nationwide NOW — ICE is no longer just deporting dangerous criminals, they are deporting people here legally (including American citizens) 5️⃣ Send the border patrol back to the actual border (not Trump’s made-up one that is supposedly everywhere). 6️⃣ End the militarization of ICE, CBP and the racial profiling. 7️⃣ End the perverse cash incentives that are de facto bounties to perpetrate Trump’s cruel agenda. 8️⃣ Require thorough, real background checks for every single agent and 2+ years of training before even setting foot in the field. We know that the leader of the Proud Boys is working for ICE! 9️⃣ INVESTIGATE and PROSECUTE every single federal agent who is breaking the law and has murdered Americans. Until this happens, there can be no more funding. American confidence in the federal government is on the toilet. Hold Trump, Noem and others accountable before throwing more money at this problem!
