I’m writing to demand your support for the Homes Act because the housing crisis isn’t just a problem—it’s a full-blown disaster. Rents are through the roof, buying a home is now a pipe dream for most, and homelessness keeps climbing. If this isn’t a five-alarm fire, I don’t know what is.
In our community, families are being forced into impossible decisions—housing or food, housing or medication. And let’s not forget the big-money investors snatching up properties with cash offers, pricing out real people who just want a place to live.
The Homes Act is a critical step toward fixing this mess and making housing a basic right, not a privilege for the rich. It’s time to put the interests of actual people over corporate profits. I’m expecting you to do the right thing: support, push, and fight for the Homes Act.
Thank you for your time. Now, go make it count.
