Yesterday was a day of infamy. The US sided with Russia (and Belarus and North Korea) in UN Resolutions marking the 3rd anniversary of Russia's hostile invasion of Ukraine. We have betrayed our allies, betrayed NATO, abandoned Ukraine and the foreign policy of Trump and Vance and Rubio embraces former foes and Nazis. Please put forward & pass house and senate resolutions to declare our support for Ukraine. Please publicly speak against Trump's lies about Ukraine. As a member of Congress, you have a voice and platform. You will be accountable as a steward and protector of our democracy, our national parks, our health, our rights, even our lives. Trump/Musk policies are going to cause death, misery, and chaos. Ask yourself: How will you explain to future generations Congress voting to slash Medicare and Medicaid in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires? How? What about gutting cancer research and food safety? What will your children think when they know you chose to let children here and abroad go hungry so the super rich could have lower taxes? Vote NO on the budget that puts oligarchs and corporations before our lives and health. Do not cut social security and Medicare, Medicaid or Snap. Please commit to the future generations of this country that you are leaving them a fairer kinder world, not a dictatorship of cruelty. Please reply in writing to assure me you will support Ukraine, call out potus lies, and not snatch access to food and medical care from those who need it. * * *
