I am writing to you once again Congressman Knott. You sent an email letter in response to one of many of my concerns about the current Trump administration. First let me respond by saying, I am not relying on "media" for the source of my concern. I am a well informed fact gathering constituent of yours. I have delved deeply into quite a few of President Trumps numerous Executive Orders since he took office, reading each from start to finish. If you have not done so, I suggest you devote some time to this endeavor. It will indeed be worth the effort. You may find written within what seems logical un-alarming verbiage, there lies disturbing intent. As a moderate, I consider myself open to many perspectives as they relate to politics of the present moment. My concerns are to the depth of how and where individual rights and freedoms are ignored under the guise of moral judgements and the clear intent of bringing one's religious faith into the reason for the EO. One in particular EO "Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias" # 14202. Within this EO this sentence appears and holds much weight, "My Administration will ensure that any unlawful and improper conduct, policies, or practices that target Christians are identified, terminated, and rectified." I ask, who determines what is "improper conduct, policies or practices"? This is purely subjective and is open to interpretation not only what improper conduct policies and practices are but in a bigger context, what defines "Anti-Christian" which leads to religious persecution in reverse. Let me add, I am a Christian if this makes a difference (and it shouldn't). This EO is out of line with The Constitution of the United States. It is unfortunately one of many Executive Orders as well as actions of the President and his administration that violates the Constitution and the right to live freely as our founding fathers intended. Congressman Knott, I explore you to look at this particular EO and delve into others. Forgive my typed mistake (implore). I think you will find why a majority of Americans feel that this administration is not only stepping beyond the boundary of this branch of government, but is moving toward an authoritarian system. Please don't disregard all that I have written here due to the previous statement. It is a shocking thought. Again, delve into EO's , put your party affiliation on the back burner, and bring your conscience to the front. I send this letter to you as a very concerned citizen and constituent of yours within this country I love.
