On February 6th, Mr. Trump posted 65 times within the 90 minute time period on his truth social account. He posted lies and racist memes. One meme in particular portrayed Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. The White House said this was "just a meme" and to "stop the fake outrage". Unacceptable. This is not fake outrage. The fact that the president continues to post racist photos and make racist comments is unacceptable. In addition, Trump uses Nazi-era language about immigrants "poisoning the blood" of our country. It is time for the Republicans in Congress to stop ignoring and normalizing Trump's racist behavior. Trump is mentally incompetent. His behavior is not that of someone who should be entrusted with the highest office in the land. The entire world sees what Trump posts on his social media and the entire world hears what he says. The rest of the world is completely baffled as to why the United States continues to allow this madman to sit in the oval Office. Why are you tolerating Trump's behavior? The American people will never stop the outrage. Our outrage is not "fake". And we will not tolerate the administration's racism. It is past time for you both to speak out against Trump's and his administration's racism. Your silence speaks volumes. The more you sit quietly by ignoring the behavior, the more you normalize it, the more clear it becomes that you are racist as well. And if you are not, then it's time to speak out. We are watching. The entire world is watching. Trump is mentally unfit, mentally incapacitated, and physically unwell. He is not capable of running our country. He certainly is not capable of being in charge of the nuclear codes. If he were your father or your grandfather, the car keys would have been taken away and he would be placed in an assisted living where he could get the care he needs. And the thing is, you know this is true. Show us what you will do, Senators. We are watching. You either embrace the racism and Nazism of the Trump administration or you stand up against it.
