Renew ACA subsidies to save the middle class

My husband and I own a small business that we started in 2019. We have faced obstacle after obstacle and just this year have felt a huge relief in making income that we thought would be enough the cover the debts we’ve incurred and support our family of 7. This year we will report around $200,000 income, which is better than the around $80,000 we survived off last year. We were able to stop the foreclosure of our home and are catching up. It’s been so hard the last few years and we finally have felt some relief and proud of ourselves for working so hard at making our small business work. Now as I went to sign up for healthcare for our family, I knew there would be an increase since we are reporting more income, but what I didn’t expect was a 5x increase, of going from $500 to $2500/month for the same plan. With the pandemic and inflation, along with having young children, it has felt like we have taken hit after hit after hit. And just when it seemed we were ready to rise above the every day fears of not having enough, we’ve been hit with this. I will take my frustrations to the voting booth, since there seems to be no other hope for us. In the meantime, I feel let down by my representatives. I can only make sense of this with one word: corruption.
