Take immediate action to restore the HIV, STIs, LGBTQ health, and contraception guidelines and health resources on the CDC website. These evidence-based guidelines are essential for clinicians to provide high-quality care and protect public health. The decision to remove these essential resources was not based on medical or public health reasons, but serves a political agenda at the expense of peoples’ lives. The guidelines removed appear to target some of the most marginalized communities and demonstrates a complete lack of concern for the most vulnerable among us.
