Revoke Elon Musk's unaccountable government access, ensure privacy safeguards.

Elon Musk's recent appointment to lead the United States DOGE Service and his access to sensitive government data is a concerning overreach of power. Despite not holding an elected position, Musk has already amassed nearly $7 million in taxpayer funding for DOGE in just one week. This unelected bureaucracy led by a private citizen with extensive business interests poses risks to government transparency and accountability. Giving a tech billionaire unfettered access to massive troves of personal data raises serious privacy concerns, as highlighted by the lawsuit filed by unions and retiree groups. Individuals who must share information with the federal government should not be forced to have their sensitive financial data exposed to Musk or his team. Federal law is meant to protect citizens' privacy, not grant a corporate leader extraordinary privileges. I urge you to take immediate action to restrict Musk's DOGE activities and revoke his access to Treasury payment systems and other critical government databases containing personal information. Rigorous oversight is needed to safeguard against abuse of power and conflicts of interest. The American people deserve a government that upholds democratic principles and operates transparently in the public interest, not at the whims of the wealthy elite. Please stand up for government accountability and citizen privacy rights.
